The PENTAIR RWSSC5 activated carbon cartridges are designed to meet the many and varied applications found in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, biotech, dairy, semiconductor and water treatment industries.
Constructed entirely of FDA-approved material, the PENTAIR RWSSC5 consists of granular activated carbon (GAC) which are effective in the removal of tastes and odors from water and for the reduction of chlorine. They also have the ability to reduce many organic compounds. A large surface of available filtration area is achieved by the creation of many fines pores and channels in each of the carbon granules. The GAC is encased in an outer string wound material which can remove particulates to 5 micron.
